ESSCA School of Management is a triple crown business school, accredited by AACSB, AMBA and EQUIS.
ESSCA School of Management was founded in 1909. For more than 110 years, the school has provided business and management education to young people and adults respecting its core values: competency, humanism, solidarity, responsibility and creativity. ESSCA has develop an excellent expertise in teaching and top-level research. The school has deployed its activity on 8 campuses including 6 in France (Paris, Angers, Cholet, Lyon, Bordeaux, Marseille) and 2 abroad (Shanghai, Budapest).
The mission of ESSCA is: “To create knowledge and develop responsible managers and entrepreneurs, while fully considering the human, ethical and economic dimensions of organizations in a multicultural environment driven by technology and social innovations”.
ESSCA plays an important role in research in Management sciences and Economics thanks to a highly qualified international faculty comprising more than 130 researchers connected to a vast partner network worldwide.
The school’s scientific activity is organized around five research groups: Entrepreneurship, Business-Model & Innovation; Finance & Risk Management; Digital Organizations; EU Asia Institute, and Family firms.
ESSCA faculty publishes in the best international scientific journals (European Journal of Operational Research, International Journal of Production Economics, History of Political Economy, Ecological Economics, Harvard Business Review, Journal of Small Business Management, Macroeconomic Dynamics, etc.) and participates in a great number of international scientific conferences (100 per year).
ESSCA actively develops Entrepreneurship in different ways:

- Teaching Entrepreneurship to undergraduate and graduate students

- Offering a Major in Entrepreneurship to 5th year students and a MSc on Entrepreneurship and Design Thinking

- Providing full Executive Education programs for managers who want to create, take over or transfer a company.
- Developing research activities carried out by the Entrepreneurship, Business Model & Innovation group on the following themes: Business Models as tools for innovation and entrepreneurship; support systems for entrepreneurs; business ecosystems and cross-sectoral partnerships, and social entrepreneurship, among others.
Students and alumni entrepreneurs can also develop their projects at the ESSCA Incubator (INCUB’ESSCA) or at the PEPITE program for students entrepreneurs. As a result former ESSCA students have created many successful companies worldwide.
