February Funding Competition

Welcome to our first-ever February Funding hosted by the ICSB Marketplace. This opportunity is for teams made up of students and alumni from accredited universities who are seeking funding for their start-ups. Start-ups will be judged based on the strength of the Customer Value Proposition (CVP) provided as well as supporting documentation that demonstrates the viability of the venture.

Criteria

- Student or alumni of accredited university
- Has completed the CVP template
- Applies before 2/28/21 at 11pm EST

Awards

Best overall app ~ $1500
Best woman-led startup ~ $1000
Best minority-led start-up ~ $1000
First runner up ~ $750*
Second runner up ~ $500
Third runner up ~ $250

*or $1000 toward trip to Paris

Finalists will be announced at latest by the end of the second week of March.

1. Your participation in this competition does not require you to attend the ICSB World Congress (although it does approve you for registration if you wish to attend).
2. Your application will be judged on your written submission (including your completed CVP and completed submission through the Proseeder application).
3. This competition is open solely to those based in the United States.

The ICSB Marketplace is a space where startups, small businesses, entrepreneurs from all over the world can meet with investors, mentors, partners, and each other to curate, establish, and advance a business in and for the future.
